Embroidery

Thread-stitched, textured and the most corporate look on caps, polos, fleece and bags. Permanent and wash-resistant.

Updated: 11 October 2026

In embroidery, the logo is stitched into the fabric by machine. First the logo is converted into an embroidery file (digitising, or "punching"): the stitch direction, density and thread colour of every area are defined. The machine then stitches according to this file.

Why choose it?

  • Premium look: the textured, slightly raised surface gives the product a quality feel.
  • Very durable: it does not fade or crack with washing.
  • Suits heavy fabrics: looks good on caps, fleece, polo shirts, sweatshirts and bags.

Limits

  • Very small text is hard: letters smaller than a few millimetres and fine lines do not come out sharp in thread; use a simplified logo for small areas.
  • Number of colours: each colour is a separate thread; gradients and photos are not possible.
  • Digitising fee: prepared once per logo and reused for later orders.
  • Embroidery can pucker thin T-shirt fabric; for thin products DTF suits better.

File tips

A vector logo and Pantone codes for the thread colours make things easier. We agree on the size together (typically 5–6 cm wide on a cap, 7–9 cm on the chest).

When embroidery is selected, the mockup shows the logo with satin-stitch texture, a raised edge and shadow.
