UV printing
Full-colour digital printing on hard surfaces: for multi-colour logos, gradients and photos. No plate per colour.
UV printing is a digital inkjet process. Ink is jetted onto the product surface and cured instantly by UV light, so it adheres even to hard, non-absorbent surfaces.
Why choose it?
- Full colour: multi-colour logos, gradients and even photos can be printed.
- No plates: there is no plate or screen per colour, so a multi-colour logo is economical even in small runs.
- White underbase: on dark products white is printed first, so colours stay vivid.
Which products?
Flat or slightly curved hard surfaces: plastic and metal power banks, notebook covers, wooden and acrylic items, phone stands, pen boxes and similar products.
Good to know
- The print forms a very thin layer on the surface; you may feel it slightly with your fingers.
- It resists wear, but on surfaces that rub constantly it is not as permanent as laser.
- Dishwashers and harsh chemicals are not recommended.
- Not suitable for fabric; for textiles choose DTF printing.
File tips
For multi-colour logos a vector file is best; designs with photos need enough resolution at print size (around 300 dpi). Sharing your colours as CMYK or Pantone makes colour matching easier.
